The Women's Studies Program Collection documents some of the curricular and structural changes made in the history of the Women's Studies Program (now Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies). The materials include a 1977 paper by Sheila Tobias on the history and future of women's studies in general; a 1980 proposal for a Women's Studies Program; a list of core courses in the Women's Studies Program for the year 1981-1982; and an extensive 2002 report created by a student forum about the nature and direction of Women's Studies at Wesleyan.
